suge! I love this type of shots. Reminds me of temples in my native place. which have extremely bright and hot sunshine on the outside while cool and dark on the inside. When I was small I would sit near the windows and get a similar view. Natsukashii. What place is this and what is that thing in the middle of the window?

This is actually not a window, but a roof of stairway to a station.
When I walked and looked up, I noticed and liked the color of light through that dusty roof. :-)
I have no certain memories like you, but yes, sort of "natsukashii" feeling.
Good to know it reminded something to you and you liked it!
